This was a project from the heart. It was a new build design and a whole house furnishings job on a serious budget. It represented a new beginning, which required courage and grit. The owner did much of the labor on her own. The lower level had heated concrete floors and raw steel elements with simple lines to give that modern, industrial vibe. Huge windows brought in tons of natural light to bring warmth and views of the open space behind. Elements of black, white and peppercorn gray flowed throughout the house and made it a fun canvas for colorful moroccan rugs. The art throughout the house focused on the power of mindset and reminded her that indeed, her future was bright.
